Thank you so much for your interest in joining the planning team for the upcoming Purse-u-ability Auction & Bingo Night! This is a super fun group of supporters who love the power of the purse and the impact we can have as we Purse-u opportunities for individuals living with a disability one purse at a time.
The Purse-u-ability Auction & Bingo night is disABILITYsa's signature fundraising event. It takes many, many hands to make it happen and we appreciate you jumping in to help make this evening a phenomenal experience for our guests which ripples into funding for greatly needed programs and services that disABILITYsa is able to provide for the San Antonio community daily.

TASK FORCE TEAM OPTIONS
1) Sponsorship/Ticket Sales: This team works to secure sponsorships and connect with groups and organizations that will help promote the ticket sales for the event.
2) Auction Display/Decorations: Oh what fun to put your creative flair on the event and the venue. This team will collect auction display pieces, decor, and figure out the layout of the venue. This team will work to ensure the auction tables are set to impress and deck out the venue on the day of the event. 3) Food/Entertainment: This team will secure the donations from local eateries and bakeries to create a selection of tasty Hors d'Ouevres and Desserts for our food stations. What better to compliment the evenings treats with the musical background that will enhance the giving spirit of the evening. 4) Bingo/Games/Activities: This team will secure the Bingo caller, Purse sponsors, determine what games shall be played and what activities our guests will enjoy throughout the evening. 5) Raffle/Live Auction/Prizes: This team will secure the items needed for 3 to 4 Raffle Prizes as well as in-kind donations that make up our game prizes for the night. Anything from trinkets to gift certificates help make the experience an evening of surprise and delight. 6) Purse Donations: Help our team secure donations of a wide variety of purses, plus additional items (gift certificates, etc) to stuff some of our gently used contributions with. |
