JOIN LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS FOR A NON-PARTISAN OUTREACH/EDUCATION MEETING Greater San Antonio Area ![]() WHAT: disABILITYsa hosts Rev Up Texas at a zoom meeting with information and discussion on:
• Definition of the Disability Vote; • Developing/implementing a Voter Registration Campaign; • Educating on the critical issues in the Disability Community; • Getting Out The Disability Vote (GOTDV); • Resources that REV UP Texas can provide; • Important dates and Texas voting events; • Next steps for organizing the local community. . WHY: The next election, will put in office, individuals that make decisions that affect the lives of people with disabilities and older Texans. The disability community has a major stake in the outcome of elections. Issues important to people with disabilities must be part of the conversations and barriers to the election process must be resolved.
