2017 SHOEBOX PROJECT BY UNITED WAY
Help with the 2017 United Way Shoebox Project:
Help create personal care packages by donating a decorated shoebox filled with the requested basic need or emergency preparedness items between March 6 and April 28. The shoeboxes will be redistributed to nonprofit partners serving: veterans, elderly, homeless, and vulnerable populations in San Antonio and Bexar County.
Each shoe box must contain: hair comb/brush, baby wipes, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, bandaids, feminine hygiene products, soap/body wash, hand sanitizer, toothbrush and toothpaste and lotion.

If your agency falls within these guidelines and you would like to participate by receiving personal care packages for your clients please complete the application at the below link:
Applications will be accepted Tuesday, February 7th – Friday, February 24th at 5:00pm. To receive boxes, all agencies must be an IRS-designated 501c3 or 501(C)19 organization and serve in San Antonio and Bexar County area.
Please note the following information:
1.) Agencies MUST provide their own transportation for pickup from the designated location.
2.) Distribution will take place during the month of May. Specific details about distribution will be provided at a later date.
(Please note distribution will no longer take place on a Saturday. We will be moving forward with scheduling deliveries during the work week in the afternoon from the Food Bank).
