INCLUSION PROGRAMMING
disABILITYsa provides San Antonio community events & festivals with resources to help include and engage people with disabilities in community celebrations.
disABILITYsa collaborates with local venues such as the San Antonio Zoo, Botanical Gardens, McNay Art Museum, Tobin Center, Blue Star Arts Gallery, and others to enhance their inclusion programming. This partnership focuses on making each venue more accessible and welcoming to people with disabilities, supporting full participation in the rich cultural and recreational opportunities these places offer.
Specific dates are selected throughout the year to incorporate the disability inclusion units (mobile or portable changing station, portable sensory room, sensory room, etc.), adaptive art stations, ASL interpreters, audio descriptions, low to no cost access or entry, and more.
