COMPENSATION: Optional Raffle for $25 Amazon Giftcard (Raffle ends February 1st, 2026)
STUDY END DATE: 8/31/2027
Attitudes about disability can lead to discriminatory practices in the workplace, that's why it is important to develop policies that foster the inclusion of people with disabilities. This study aims to make employment more inclusive and accessible by understanding how attitudes towards disability shapes the interview processes, the evaluation of candidates, hiring decisions, and workplace accommodation policies.
Eduardo is a graduate student at St. Mary's University conducting an interactive survey experience to better understand how clear and actionable work policy can impact the willingness to hire, willingness to accommodate, and interview perceptions of a person with a disability. In this online survey, participants will first answer a questionnaire on their beliefs about disability, then they will put themselves in the shoes of a hiring manager to evaluate a job candidate, make a hiring decision, and decide what accommodations to make available.
By participating in this unique study, you would be contributing to research that makes employment more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities.
