RESEARCH DISFORUM
January 30-31 • Whitley Event Center • San Antonio, Tx
Join us for a free, two-day, community-centered research conference that reimagines what research could be when people with disabilities are not just included, but centered as co-creators, storytellers, and leaders.
This conference will bring together researchers, community members, and people with disabilities to celebrate community-based participatory research (CBPR) and showcase creative, accessible, and untraditional methods of generating and sharing knowledge.
We’ll examine what it means to share power, build trust, and take action through research that directly serves the community. Expect space for reflection, connection, and collaboration as we collectively challenge the traditional paradigms of research and elevate new ways of learning, knowing, and doing that reflect the realities of diverse communities.
