Nonprofits are invited to participate in Fiesta Especial 2012 in a variety of ways.

Fiesta Especial is an official Fiesta Event that takes place over the course of two days, April 20th – 21st (10am – 10pm) and features simulated and virtual reality games and rides, entertainment, food, games, crafts and much, much more for children and adults with physical, cognitive and developmental differences and the family and friends who love them.

We anticipate over 3,000 children and adults with disabilities will attend over the course of the two day event in one way or another.

There are a number of ways you can get involved in Fiesta this year... we're here to share a few.:

1.    Take advantage of the special package option open to schools (Friday Only), service providers, and senior activities centers (enclosed).  $5 General Admission includes 5 complimentary vouchers for games/rides/activities.

2.    Enter into the Shoebox Float Parade (Friday, April 20th) and have your “float” featured on our website for the “Vote for your Float” contest.  Decorated shoe boxes, wheel chairs, walkers and wagons are encouraged to enter!

3.    March in the Fiesta Especial Promenade and Parade! on Saturday, April 21st under your organization’s banner!

4.    Become a vendor and raise money for your organization!

Proceeds from this event support charitable, non-profit programs improving the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our local community throughout the year for scholarships, recreational activities, day programs and residential services that improve the lives of children and adults with special needs.

Fiesta Especial is a smoke/tobacco-free, alcohol-free, weapon-free and family-friendly event.

In 2008, more than 7,000 people attended Fiesta Especial over two days on the grounds of River City Christian School. With the move to Rackspace, we are preparing for a good showing again this year!
