Functional Communication

This workshop will provide caregivers information about the importance of teaching children a way to communicate. Various methods to teach functional communication will be discussed.

After attending this training, you will have the option to sign up for an individual hands-on training. At this individual training, you and your child will work with a behavior analyst to assess your child's communication and learn strategies that you can use in your everyday life to teach your child functional communication. You will be able to sign up for a 1-hour slot after attending the March 22nd training. Cost for the individual hands-on training is based on a sliding fee scale ranging from $10-100.

Cost: $15/person; $5/person if child has Medicaid
