Is your child unable to express his/her wants and needs? Promoting Appropriate Communication of Children with Autism in the Home and Community will provide caregivers information about the importance of teaching children a way to communicate. Various methods to teach functional communication will be discussed.
This course is one of the Caregiver Workshops offered at the Autism Community Network. ACN offers a variety of workshops for caregivers of children with autism. All workshops are held at the ACN offices at 701 S. Zarzamora and run from 8:30 am to 11:30 am or 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Cost: $15 per person ($5 with Medicaid)
