Join Eva's Heroes and Santikos Theatres for a special showing of Hollywood's latest family friendly film in a sensory friendly and accepting environment.
Doors open at 5:30pm and movie begins at 6pm. Eva's Heroes Special Presentations will be held at Santikos Silverado 16 located at Bandera Rd and 1604 and at Santikos Embassy 14 located at 281 and Bitters Rd. Eva's Heroes Special Presentations are held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday
Please share with any individuals or families who would benefit. This is an activity open to individuals of all ages with intellectual special needs.
As always, individuals with intellectual special needs receive free admission. Attending parents, friends, sibling, caregivers, and general public pay going matinee rate for the theater they attend.

Home Depot Store # 0581, has invited Autism and Beyond to participate at their activity event on August 25, 2012. Open for all ages.
It will be held in their training room, to help decrease any overstimulation from their usual Home Depot Kids Activity event.
Home Depot Kids Workshops Overview:
There will be a hands-on Sensory Friendly Activity. Create their own projects, will receive an orange apron and a certficate.
Cost to Attend:
Home Depot Kids Workshops are free. All materials and tools are also provided.
Age Recommendations: None.
This workshop is designed for children & adult under the autism spectrum. Younger children can build the projects with their parents' help.
Home Depot Kids Workshop Helpers:
Store employees show kids how to complete the project. Parents can also assist.

Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Autism
The Texas Autism Research & Resource Center (TARRC) and Autism and Beyond invite you to a presentation by national law enforcement trainer and safety consultant Dennis Debbaudt. A consultant, author, former private investigator and father to a young man on the autism spectrum, Mr. Debbaudt is known for his knowledge, dedication, insight, humor and ability to connect with audiences. Dennis’s comments will be geared to family and community members concerned with the safety of individuals with autism.

FREE Community Drum Circle
What is a community drum circle?
The community drum circle is a rhythmic gathering using drums nd hand percussion. Individuals of ALL ages and abilities with r without previous musical experience are invited to attend.
Instruments will be provided for everyone. The drum circle is OT a drum lesson or performance-based class. Participants re invited to come and share their creative “inner rhythm”. It is a ime for the community, friends, and family to CONNECT, ELIEVE STRESS, and have FUN!
