Volunteers are needed at this year's event to help make sure we have another successful year of bringing resources and recreation to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Organizations/Groups/Individuals may select which shift they would like to work, but all position assignments will be assigned to volunteers a few days prior to the event once recruitment is complete.

Some of the activities our volunteers may participate in are as follows:

Set-Up: set-up tables, chairs, tenting and signage

Event Shift Assignments will include a variety of the following:
• Ticker/Counters (count the number of attendees as they arrive)
• Greeters (Hand out programs)
• Hosts (watch individuals that are dropped off while their parties park)
• Exhibitor Support (watch items as they are dropped off and take display items to exhibitor’s table)
• Directional Hosts (float around the park pointing out where activities and zones are located for guests)
• Food Monitors (keep food items stocked and orderly)
• Fun Zone Monitors (help facilitate the activities)
• Education Zone Support (help set-up between presentations)
• Entertainment Zone Support (help set-up between shows, assist with costume contest, assist Judges, assist emcee, etc.)
• Health & Safety Zone Support (assist service providers in administering screenings)
• disABILITYsa.org guest registration table (distribute and collect passports for door prize drawing)
• Public Relations Support (take names and monitor releases for photographer, locate profile people should media arrive, etc.)
• Photographer Aids (help get names and releases for individuals being photographed at the event)
